چکیده
To mitigate the adverse effects of climate warming, Paris Agreement proposed goal to reduce global warming up an increase 1.5 °C above preindustrial level. Study population and GDP exposure precipitation extreme events under target is fundamental for disaster risk mitigation adaptation on Loess Plateau. This study projected level Plateau using daily data from CMIP6 outputs a Shared Socioeconomic Pathway 1(SSP1) 2.6 scenario. The were evaluated by combing frequency areal coverage events. Results show that will was 1.32 × 106 2.68 person-year. eastern southern significantly higher than northern region. annual ranges USD 2.9 12.3 billion, regions with highest are Zhengzhou, Xi’an, Taiyuan, Lanzhou. Our results reveal limiting mean temperature great significance social economic

Increased record-breaking precipitation events under global warming
In the last decade record-breaking rainfall events have occurred in many places around the world causing severe impacts to human society and the environment including agricultural losses and floodings. There is now medium confidence that human-induced greenhouse gases have contributed to changes in heavy precipitation events at the global scale. Here, we present the first analysis of record-bre...
متن کاملClimate Change Impact on Precipitation Extreme Events in Uncertainty Situation; Passing from Global Scale to Regional Scale
Global warming and then climate change are important topics studied by researchers throughout the world in the recent decades. In these studies, climatic parameters changes are investigated. Considering large-scaled output of AOGCMs and low precision in computational cells, uncertainty analysis is one of the principles in doing hydrological studies. For this reason, it is tried that investigati...
متن کاملPopulation movement under extreme events.
T he last century has witnessed the fastest population growth in human history, with the result that, for the first time, more than 50% of the world population lives in cities. This process is still advancing. According to United Nations predictions, urban population will exceed 75% of the world’s population by 2070. Furthermore, estimates are that if the current trends continue, by the end of ...
متن کاملRegional temperature and precipitation changes under high-end (≥4°C) global warming.
Climate models vary widely in their projections of both global mean temperature rise and regional climate changes, but are there any systematic differences in regional changes associated with different levels of global climate sensitivity? This paper examines model projections of climate change over the twenty-first century from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Fourth Assessment Re...
متن کاملEstimating the Response of Extreme Precipitation over Midlatitude Mountains to Global Warming
Global warming–induced changes in extreme orographic precipitation are investigated using a hierarchy of models: a global climate model, a limited-area weather forecast model, and a linear mountain wave model. The authors consider precipitation changes over an idealized north–southmidlatitudemountain barrier at the western margin of an otherwise flat continent. The intensities of the extreme ev...
